My 17 year old son helps me with my business as part of his Work Study. My husband, a busy VA Doctor, does have every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off so he helps out, which is why I say I have a family run business. We have a 5 bedroom, 3 bath home with a good sized fenced in backyard. The pets I care for spend some time downstairs, especially in the evenings when it’s time to settle. We hang out in our “family” room area with myself, my daughter in 4th grade, and my dogs, who all get along with other dogs. I have a big crate and 2 smaller ones for dogs that are crate trained to sleep in one at night. I have the pet cube camera downstairs to always watch them if they sleep there. They are welcome to sleep in our beds with us. 

I do typically go to my clients homes for the overnights, especially when they leave for a week or 2, but I will take dogs into my home. I do a trial for an afternoon first to ensure they all get along. 

I do go beyond the traditional basic pet sitting by offering a comprehensive suite of House/Pet Care Services. I will do light house cleaning, check your mail and water plants or run an errand while providing specialized care like pet bathing and am experienced in administering oral or injectable medications. I am trained to handle every detail, including eye, ear, and nail care, ensuring your pets receive the attention and personalized care they deserve. 

 I can bring my own bedding or sleep wherever you want to put me. I’ve slept on couches or extra bedrooms. I also bring my own food. 

I recognize that each dog/cat is a unique individual with distinct needs and personality, and I am dedicated to providing tailored, personalized experiences. From energetic group outings with a few of my dogs (if you wish) to the dog park to leisurely solo strolls through your neighborhood, I prioritize safety, leash etiquette, and, above all, the well-being of your dog. I also jog/run dogs. I’ve walked everyone from a Chihuahua to a Pit Bull to a Great Dane. The Alaskan Malamute I walked for years loved walking in sub zero temperatures! I walk dogs in all conditions. If you have 2 or 3 dogs, I am able to walk them at the same time. I’ve sat with cats as they purred on my lap, they’ve slept with me, and I’ve had playtime with them. Many times they just want some company.
